Inclusive by Design: Making Products Accessible to All
Thursday October 26, 11:30 am-12:30 pm
This session will look at the ‘inclusive design’ movement and how companies are integrating inclusion into the product design process to include persons with disabilities and consumers in remote areas and developing countries. Examples include medication access and designing medical devices that can be used in developing countries, making technology and software apps for persons living with disabilities, and improving food access and nutrition education in food deserts in the U.S.
